FINAL PIECE
My final piece is a arrangement of images from my second final piece planning ideas that have been framed in multiple sizes of frames : 10x15 ; 13x18 ; 18x24 ; 21x30. I framed them in white frames that have a slightly thin border. I liked the outcome of the final piece and when framed up together the aspects are similar in some way to Shilpa Gupta's and Wolfgang Tillmans's frames. The images are taken of plastic bags and are edited to appear in the style of Tillmans underwater images linking all three of my main artists to this Final Piece.
PROPOSAL :
HOW DOES IT LINK TO YOUR ARTISTS?
It has the plastic and the editing style combining both the styles of Naomi white and Wolfgang Tillmans (with the final outcome appearing more as Tillmans, but the process being Naomi White's style). It is then framed with the similar frames used in many Shilpa Gupta exhibitions and in some Wolfgang Tillmans under water exhibitions.
WHAT IS YOUR FINAL PIECE GOING TO LOOK LIKE?
I would compare the appearance of the images to my final photoshoot for Wolfgang Tillmans, combining it with more hue's such as in Naomi White's work. It will be framed to appear in the style of Shilpa Gupta.
WHAT SIZE WILL IT BE?
The frames are sizes: 10x15 ; 13x18 ; 18x24 ; 21x30.
WHAT PAPER WILL IT BE PRINTED ON?
The images that I have picked will be printed n photographic paper, and will be framed in white wooden frames in the sizes above. they wont have the usual white border around the inside of the frame to show the full image (unlike some Shilpa Gupta images).
