CONCEPT FOCUS
Focus:
Form of objects and lights shapes
SHILPA GUPTA : Shilpa Gupta is interested in perception and how we as people transmit and understand information, which is explored through the many different items found in her collage imagery. These images are the closest to the style I would want to link between her and the other artists I am linking to her style.
WOLFGANG TILLMANS : Wolfgang Tillmans is interested in social life and encompassing our participation in society. He is inspired and motivated by his own aesthetic and political interest in art. With images I took for Wolfgang Tillmans I used the same plastic for his image as I did for the photoshoots for Naomi White. The colours include a high vibrancy and a lower saturation I used a white background to then be changed with the plastic similarly to my photoshoot for Naomi White. Partial iris blur around the edges. Finally, a similar colour scheme. For Wolfgang Tillmans I focused on two separate aspects of his work where one linked more to the work of Shilpa Gupta when collaged and the other paper-work linked more to Naomi White. I found my images were more successful in the second try after I had re-fined my original images again and again. For my final piece I would focus more on paper work and combine the aspect of Wolfgang Tillmans work and Naomi white and find a way to also show the collage that Shilpa Gupta is more interested in, in her work.
NAOMI WHITE : Naomi white is a artist inspired by the transformative power in life. She explores this through day-to-day objects and bags which she uses in her photography. She uses vibrant colours to catch the eye of any artist or person to show a abstract shape with colours that are visually pleasing to anyone. she is able to focus on one or many colours and often shows a theme of more detailed objects in the backgrounds of her images that we do not see at first.
