GCSE IDENTITY - UMA ALMOND

Experimenting with Frames
IDEA 3:
To get me started, I am firstly considering using frames to help me think about my overall final outcome/piece. I wanted to firstly experiment with putting my work into frames as this allows me to see a resulting outcome from experimenting with different artists. To begin, I have firstly created a few mock ups, placing some of my recent images and successful outcomes into frames using Photoshop. This has allowed me to get a feel of what my final piece could come to look like. To do so I selected a few successful developments I liked then, went into photoshop and i was unsure about putting the images in red frames as i fear it could become too detracting but i actually really like the way it looks with most of the images, i think with my scanned photographs it does not work as well but with the others it gives them a very bold and out there effect which i like. overall, I like the way these quick mock ups look and will now create these portraits physically.

I thought to chose these images in particular because I think to create a resulting outcome using a frame the picture has to be interesting enough however not too busy (simply photographed). I also experimented with these developments being black and white as I thought it would be a good experimentation art piece.
Putting my work into series

I thought it would be a good idea to experiment with series. To do so I used a template I found on the internet to morph my developments into looking like series. I used my most successful developments from my Pablo Thecuadro page. I then adjusted these developments to fit into the template.
Finalizing my ideas - putting them into frames

I thought it would be a good idea to attach my finalised outcomes from my re-collaged outcomes. These are my three final outcomes from my second idea on collage.
