Magazines could be an effective choice for my project because I am looking at themes of gender and gender identity. Creating a magazine will link to my artists by displaying my most successful images from a photoshoot inspired by all of them. A magazine could also link to some of the fashion and beauty themes that Guy Bourdin often experiments with. I plan to take inspiration from layouts in different magazines (especially photography magazines) and arrange my images in eye catching ways that also show my images in their best light. I also want to incorporate a little bit of text. I plan to use some previous research from my concept page for this. It will be A4 size and I plan to have it professionally printed on photographic paper by a website called, 'Blurb'.
