Considering My Final Piece Idea For Each Artist

I have chosen these three images as my most successful developments out of my three artists. I believe these are my most successful due to the fact that they look most similar to my artists work. I have learned many different challenging techniques to edit my developments throughout identity and I cant wait to further my ideas when making my final piece.

Laurence Demasiano:

I will develop my edits into a final piece by incorporating a series of images into one composition. Essentially my inspiration for my final piece is that within Laurence's work she explores fitting many images into one frame focusing on one composition. I believe this will be very interesting to carry out as my final piece. For instance:

Nick Francher:

My idea is to take inspiration from this artwork and put them in a black frame. Throughout my piece of artwork i will carefully select images i believe that link somehow but are still different.

I will develop my edits into a final piece by incorporating a frame and resin. This will be performed by putting my edits into a black frame and have resin drip over the frame. However if this is unsuccessful my back up plan would simply be to print my images on top of resin and and have PVA glue drip all over it. I think these ideas will create a dystopian intriguing atmosphere to my work and I cant wait to see how my final product will come out.

I have taken these images inspired by Nick Francher. My objective for this photoshoot was to capture images at a close angle. In order to have my artwork similar to Nick Francher's work I experimented with different materials to put on top of my dish. For instance, I experimented with honey, water, gel and hand sanitizer to find the perfect consistency to put on top of my dish and make my images perfect to Francher's standard. The main challenge of my shoot was to discover which material was the perfect consistency as it was a long process to overcome.

Developments in the style of Nick Francher

I have edited these images by decreasing the brightness to have a low key effect. I have also edited these by increasing the contrast and adjusting the curve to have the colours be more vibrant. I have also burnt the background in order to have more dark effect. These edits will be utilized in my final piece physically by putting them in resin and then putting them in frames. I would say my main challenge to portray a mix of high and low key lighting in my work. This is because Francher's work has a bright outlook yet a dark atmosphere throughout his work
