Final piece first outcome

I have created my final piece by printing out one of
my most successful edits of Nick Francher and
incorporating the idea of it resin. Firstly, we laid down a layer of the resin before putting the image in, in order to have the image be centered in the resin. Secondly, we then placed the image in carefully and layered more resin over the top. Finally, after letting the image set in the resin we achieved our final product. The main challenge of this was the fact that we were not equipped with a mold for the resin in order for it to be perfectly symmetrical. Unfortunately, this then caused the shape of the resin to be uneven. However, in my opinion I believe for our first try on the resin experiment it came out almost successful. In order to achieve a fully successful final piece we will be trying again with the proper equipment.
Final Piece
Successful Outcome

These images are my final piece.
I have created my final piece by using a mold. I poured the resin into the mold then I placed my image
in after that I poured more resin into the mold over my image to then finally leave it in a cool area to dry. I then placed them in frames and it came out successful. This was more successful than my previous experiment due to the fact I was better equipped. This strongly finalized my whole experience on the artist Nick Francher and has made me truly understand and comprehend the message behind his work.

This is my Laurence Demasiano final piece. I made this final piece by printing out three large prints of my work and purchasing a 50x70cm frame in order to fit my images in. I covered the backing of the frame with a black sheet of paper and by gluing it in place. I then measured how large the images had to be in order to fit in the frame. I did this by using guillotine to sharpen the edges and cut it to the correct size needed for it to fit in the frame. I then experimented with the placement of the images until I liked the way it was placed. Finally I glued my images down onto the backing of the frame I then placed the glass over it and I was thoroughly pleased with the outcome.
