FINAL PIECE

For my final piece I am going to be weighing out all my skills from all the different artist I have explored in great detail to then incorporate my own individual ideas into this which will hopefully result in my successful final piece. This includes the digitally edited images blends to create distorted images, the fantastic collages of my second artist Leticia Lampart. I printed out three of my images mainly relating to my

HOW I CREATED MY FINAL PIECE

I captured images of buildings in central London and edited them by altering the hue and shades of the colour. I would then print out on acetate and layer it over the light box I would then alter the brightness of the light depending on the opacity of each image. I would then capture images of the red acetate buildings and digitally edit them using photo shop.I then after digitally image blending my images on Photoshop i printed them out in a A3 size and placed then in frames. I made sure to select 3 of my favourite images to image blend to place in a 40 by 50 frame. My frame was a white border as the main theme of my images was red and white.

HOW DOES YOUR FINAL PIECE LINK TO ALL THREE ARTISTS ?

Overall I feel like my final piece does relate to my artist especially my third artist im particular. My images are shown to be double exposed multiple times to create a distorted view of the image which is the main focus for Idris khan (My first artist ). Secondly my third artist also primarily focuses on the colour red and how to incorporate that into his images. I first printed out a red transparent image on acetate then I layered the images of my building (which were also printed on acetate or tracing paper). Then I simply captured images with my camera to ensure that I was getting the true display of the image. However for my second artist whos work was mainly based around collage I decided to layer the images of the building whilst being inspired by Leticia lamperts collaging skills.

WHAT IS YOUR FINAL PIECE GOING TO LOOK LIKE ?

My final piece is going to be of my successful developments from my third artist edits a little bit more to prepare it for printing and it is going to be printed in an A3 size. I bought 3 40 by 50 frames so my images will be able to fit inside them.I purchases a white from which included a border with it and I included a border as we had a choice to not use them.

WHAT PAPER WILL IT BE PRINTED ON ?

My images will be printed out on a flexible cardboard type of paper which is ideal as it will be able to stay sturdy when placed into the frame for a long period of time.
