David Hockney

David Hockney mostly known as a paints however he also take pictures.

He started off as a portrait painter and then moved on to taking pictures. But he does not take pictures as you would expect. When he is not painting he creates collages be taking the same pictures but he movers the camera every time he takes a picture so the when he prints them and puts them to gather it creates this nice layered affect.

Also when he took the picture still life blue guitar in 1982 it made him quite well known for his photography. He takes his photos by taking a pictures by take picture of a sill object but he takes the same picture 30 times but every time he takes the pictures he moves the camera a bit so that when he prints the picture there is much bigger image collaged together. Also he normally takes his picture when it is sunny so that a lot of light in his picture.

Also he mostly takes portraits of people face since it looks more abstract when he collages the picture. In the 1980 David Hockney became famous for his unique collaged photos since nobody had ever done something like that. When he took the pictures he only used special 35mm paper so that all so the pleases look like they bad ben cut from each out

For my photo shoot I went to Paddington station since it had a lot of large building which are good for this arties since I need to take a lot of small pictures and then I can put them all together to make a bigger picture. Also I can distorted the picture to make the look more like David Hockney he also sometimes puts some pictures in a different order so that it looks distorted and it also make the pictures look more interesting. when I stared editing the pictures.

Exploring David Hockney's Joiners

When I edited my photos I made sure to put the pictures together in order so that they are in the site of Daivid Hockney then I selected segments of the pictures then I copied and pasted the so that the pictures would look distorted and glitchy in the styles of Davide Hockey. I also moved some of the images to make the picture a bit more distorted.

Experimenting with scanning

Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go-to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

When I took these picture I had to experiment with the light witch took me a few try an I had to get the picture developed and to find film was out of date then I also made sure to use the flash since the station was not well lite the when I got the developed I scanned them the the I transferred them to may computer then I took 2 of the scans then layered them on top each other and then lowered the opacity.

Experimenting with physical collages

For my photos I started of by take pictures in Paddington station on a disposable camera then I got the picture printed then I put then I took the pictures and pieced them all together and then took a picture of them however I was had to get the light in the correct place without getting a shine on the corner of the pictures. I took the pictures on a digital camera so that I could upload them to my computer so that I could edit them.
