Final piece concepts and ideas
For my final piece I have decided to incorporate all of the I have researched about and make them into a series of photos. I am gonna take importance in this final piece and give it my all so I can round up more marks. I am gonna use all the aspects of my artists work to create something unique and special. I will use all of the techniques my artists use such as Masao Yamamoto's use of artificial aging, Brooks Shane Salzwedel's unique texture and Linda Morrow's double exposure. From this, I believe I will be able to make something ambiguous and interesting.
Final piece photoshoot

For my final piece photoshoot I decided to take my photos and burn them. I experimented with ink and ink and water. The way I took these photos is by placing my burnt pictures under a glass bowl/beaker and splsshedink in the water to create s very unique and abstract designs with the movement of the ink and I further decided to place a Light pad underneath my pictures to pint out the burnt holes and edges and to further emphasis the colours of the ink and the flow of it. fir this I obviously used artificial lighting from the lighted and turned off the lights in the room to focalise the shoot. The first few photos are probably my favourites because they were taken from a further range from the bowl and it makes it look like it was a fish eye lens and I really like that effect. It was ver important that the flower was the main focus aswell as the ink Some of the failures pf this shoot was that I sometimes put too much ink into the water bowl and it would completely cover the flower. Some photos became out of focus and the ink looked more spread out and faded. In my opinion not only was this shoot successful, it was also very enjoyable.
Basic edits

To start off I did some basic edits for my shoot. This was because I could edit them into my last and final pieces and it would be easier. I focused on shadows by adding curves and I also added aspects of My first and second artists to make it more interesting and to have a really good outcome. I used colour lookup to change the filter of the photo to make it look more old in Masao Yamamoto's style. Whilst experimenting I found so many different filters and many outcomes I could've had but I decided to pick this filter as it looked more antique. It also defines the movement of the ink and the colour. The ink has a very unique effect on the picture and looks really good in the filter.
Final pieces

For my first final shoot edit I used mirroring and I like this one because of the effect of the bowl which makes it look like fish eye lenses. I also burned the edges and the middle to separate the images so it doesn't look too edited. my intentions for burning the photos is so that I can make the photos look dilapidated.

For my second final piece edit I again experimented with mirroring and burning the edges to give it an old and rough look. By mirroring, You can see that the middle parts to make a very pretty design as well as the ink and it just looks fascinating to me.

For my final outcome I made 3 different edits to put in a frame. For This edit I experimented with burning edges and composition with 3 pictures. I think it looks really nice and it almost looks like an old photo cards. I also defined the edges of the holes by burning It and the edges around. This also is to experiment with negative spacing and mastering the idea of it.
