David Sorrenti
For my second identity development, I have chosen David Sorrenti (born on the 9 July 1976 in Naples Italy and sadly passed away on 4 February 1997 in the United states of New york) who was a Italian fashion photographer, son of photographer and advertiser Francesca Sorrenti, and brother of Mario Sorrenti and vanina Sorrenti, also fashion photographers. Additionally he was in a film called see know evil, which had some of his images. Furthermore Davide Sorrenti explores youth culture around the world and finds good composition and editing them in mostly collages and give a good effect his style of work. In addition I have chosen to pick this artist as it links with my first identity artist, who is Clayton Patterson and edits his work in collages for some edits. Moreover is that I am experienced with the techniques that David Sorrenti does as for his photoshoots and edits because the two artists are fairly similar in work. Moving on I am exited in developing Davide Sorrenti's work as I will be visiting new areas on my city (London) and capturing images that I imagine to look the same as the artist Sorrenti because I am inspired and dedicated for what is to come. On one hand Davide Sorrenti's work has Varity of techniques : for example, black and white, increased noise, stronger filter that brings out all the colours with a strong affect and typically visits different parts of his city each time he captures images. If I had to give his work a title I would say it is a detailed shoot as Davide Sorrenti's acknowledges that he needs to be in consideration on the many techniques he needs to make sure are in used in the process of his photoshoots and edits. In his work it is normally either himself or his girlfriend capturing the shoots. On top of that when Davide Sorrenti was alive he moved to New York city because he was seufferting condition, which was thalassemia, but it did not stop him from capturing astounding shoots with his condition and releasing 23 images of his work while he suffered that horrific condition. Into the bargain Davide Sorrenti's story goes to show at how much he founded and was passionate about his work that his illness did not stop him from his work. Over and above that Sorrenti captures his images with a vintage camera, with a range of short and medium shot as he believes it is more effective and suits his style more in terms of his collage's. On top of that Davide's composition is always in a proactive scene to give his viewers a good experience when exploring his type of work. Furthermore I have looked at dozens of artists that explore collages and I have found that Davide Sorrenti, best suits me in the style of my work and and the methods I use.

Contact-sheet

For my contact-sheets that was inspired from my artist Davide Sorrenti. I explored different locations over the weekend with my friends and one of the many locations were an abandoned building I my self came across. I brought my friends with me on my journey and instructed them to pose in the frame of the camera in a dynamic range and in a good composition were you will be able to see the background and your self within my camera lens of my canyon camera. I took in consideration of the lightings of my photos, so I also instructed my friends to be next to a window or were sunlight is to be seen as the inside of the building was very dark. I travelled to the abandoned building in the daylight and at the afternoon because I could be able to capture numerous pictures with a lot of light and with not as much light to be able see the difference and pick in between the two to be used for my edits in the style of Dexter Navy. Furthermore I would say that my photos that were captured over the half-term overall were exceptional as I used my photo-plan to indicated my success and my improvements in order to meet with Davide Standards of work with mine. Moving on, as I look over my work could see some improvements I could change, may be experimenting further with my work and capturing my photos in more landscapes than portraits.
Edits in the style of Davide Sorrenti

The following edits that were produces by me are from the inspiration of Davide Sorrenti. I had a glance over his work and quickly thought of a lot of ways to edit my work and even experiment but still e in the style of my artist. Moreover I go an image that consisted of good lighting and composition to be placed approximately 6 times on the same page to give the same vibe and give a level of detail that is produced in my artist work.

Furthermore for my edits in the style of Davide Sorrenti I put a solid image of a color for my background for every edit, and found a graphite design image on the internet and placed them on either 4 sides of my image. Additionally I looked at my Contact-sheets and used and image that I circled, than made the image smaller so many of the same images would be able to fit on the same page so it can give the same vibe of my Identity artist. On top of that I made a few random images black and white so that everthing on that image cannot be dull and will be able to stand out to the naked eye. Lastly for my finishing touches I added 40%noise to my whole page to make it look older

Additionally in my developments I placed certain mages in the corner of my image to give my work some color and not to look dull. I also thought out carefully about the size of my images, for example I placed a variety amount of large and small images around my image to experiment with different ideas and allowing my work to be looked at in different angles.
Contact sheet II

The contact sheets you can see above me is my redraft photo-shoot in the style of Davide sorrenti. For the location of my photos I experimented with light in my photos. This is because as I was taking my images with my phone camera, while it had a fish eye lens, I used the flash on my cannon camera to really focus on the composition and aim the attention on were the light had shined on. Furthermore the fish eye lens was the most change that I have done from my original photo-shoot, and was done to give my work more level of detail and to make it more intriguing. Lastly I would say that overall for my identity artist I have done very well in my opinion as I used all his techniques and photography techniques .
Process log

Step 1: I drew with the noise tool and added a certain amount of noise on my image (32%) to make my image have the vibes of Davide sorrenti, who is my artist.

Step 2: I drew with the curve tool and adjusted the contrasts with my knowledge of photography techniques, which gave my image a warmer look and gave it a sense of my artist's work.

Step 3: I drew with the crop tool to spread my composition out evenly, which made my image more effective, as all the attention was made to be focused on the pupil.
Editing in the style of Davide Sorrenti II

For my edits that were in the style of Davide sorrenti, I used a collection of techniques for exanple chanign the affect of lighting, exploring different compostion and exploring different noise percantages to really give a Davide Sorrenti' vibe. Furthermore I changed numerous certain images into black and white to give the other picture with normal color, a better and more of a visual look. Moreover I used the mirror technique I gathered over this cause to change some images to face eahaover the same way but upside down to give such an effect.

On your left you will see that my edited images has lots of variation of different sizes on one page and placing those images in numerous angles to make my work an exceptional piece and different to the others. In addition I really emphasized the lighting of my work to be quite dark because it could lead a sense of mystery behind my work and would want to see more of its kind. This was accomplished by using the curve tool to slightly adjust the lighting a little bit to allow my impassion to be achieved .

For the edited image that was in the style of Davide Sorrenti (on your right) was developed step by step with overlaying different types of techniques I had to use over the course of Identity. Additionally I experimented with different sizes of my images to really give a good look to my work.
Black and white

For my further developments, I experimented in double exposure, while still keeping my work in the style of Davide Sorrenti. I have edited 12 images into black and white, which gave them a very sophisticated look and effect, in terms of detail and the way the color of the image changes the visuals and the makes my work look older. Furthermore I have seen my artist Davide Sorrenti use the black and white technique in some of his popular images that I have came across.

Double Exposure
For my further developments I experimented in Double exposure for identity, which allowed me to express my feelings in his way of work. The steps that it took for the process for double exposure, It took 3 main steps for me to finalize my experiment. Firstly I gathered two phenome images that was made by myself. I overlaid the two images together and tried to pick the best element of the double exposure's filters to try and stick with the vibe of my artist Davide Sorrenti.

Mirroring

For my last experiment for Davide Sorrentio I experimented in the mirroring technique that I had learnt in photography. I placed an image in the photoshop app and then used the crop tool to expand the surface to allow another image to be on the same tab. I copied the image with ctrl c and then pasted the image with ctrl v and then dragged the image on the opposite side of the image. Then I flipped the image at 180degrees to be facing the other way, the first image is.

Highlighting success

I have chosen these following images to be included for my highlighted success because they include good composition, good dynamic angles and exceptional lighting in my work. Furthermore the edits include different types of curve lengths and the layers being at perfect noise length (49%). Moving on the different types of images are different colors for example black and white.

Hand made piece in the style of Davide Sorrenti

For my work that was hand made in the style of Dexter Navy, I completed 9 developments. For all of my art I had cut out the pieces that I was going to stick on an A4 piece of colored paper with masking tape placing the image down flat on the paper. I carefully planned out were I was going to stick my pieces of paper, so that the whole A4 paper can be filled with different pieces of art work.

These images are immaculate in terms of using the key aspects of photography techniques, that make your image. Furthermore I laid out my work in loads of different composition, like Davide Sorrento does wit his art. And I used the masking tape to my advantage because, it adds detail to my art by allowing the small images to focus along side the larger ones that seem to be more eye catching.
GIF's

The two GIF's that are on top and below you have been edited in black and white as one GIF and another GIF in their original form of edit. For my black and white images I opened them as a folder and I converted the color to be black and white so it can look for effective. I then after converted those images into one file then saved them individually to then create an animation in a GIF. Furthermore for the original GIF edit I just opened the images in a single folder and saved them and placed them into a GIF maker website that automatically pastes your images into a GIF.

For the development as a GIF, which is below me is a bunch of images in a portrait frame and edited with noise and consists of lovely lay out and composition. To start with I used the same technique as I used for every artist I have seen before that used me to edit my images in a style a GIF. When the GIF was completed I adjusted the speed to be increased my 250, so leaving it at a 750 looping speed.

Developing physical developments

These pieces of art work you can see are my pieces that may be included in the near future of my final piece, which will really engage my work to who ever views it because of all the sophisticated colors that was mixed all into one with my self developing many physical pieces and combining them into one.

Furthermore, I have used a roughly combined of 3 or 4 images and picked the certain pieces that looked most suitable to stay with my other work and pieces and to make sure that my work is still matching the vibes of my work, which is
