Negative Space-

Negative space resembles empty pace around the object in the picture.

Compositions-

Composition is basically "putting things together". It can be thought of as the organization of the elements of art.

Collage-

Collage is merging different materials, pieces of paper, fabric, and photographs all in one image to make a collage

For my final piece my idea is to combine 2 artist I have done and use their different styles to make a work of my own.

Final Piece Ideas

My two artists:

Chloe Shepperd

Paul Buttler

Settings:

For my background I am going to go around my area in notting hill because Notting Hill does have quite a lot of aesthetic areas which will work well with my ideas.

clothes:

I am not going to worry much about clothes since I am going to paint over my figure to get the style of Paul Butler in my work.

another idea for my final piece is to further develop my paul butler images.

I am going to do some hand work  by printing my Paul butler pictures out and collaging them onto paper.

to complete my final piece i am going to use my hand made collages and put them onto canvases

These are my contact sheets for my Chloe Sheppard/Paul Butler Final Piece . I managed to achieve everything I said in my mind map plan and am very proud of the out come of the pictures. One of my main targets in this session was to enhance a variety of coloured backgrounds in order to highlight vibrancy and saturation also highlight the artist work Paul butler since his main focus is backgrounds. I walked around aesthetic areas that I thought would be perfect for the shoot,

To capture my images I went out during the day at the weekend, making sure the sun was shining to create a bright, light and youthful lighting to my images. I also wanted to aim to use natural light, rather than artificial, I took images of different angles still making sure all compositions were long shots to capture the whole body rather than focusing on close ups. It was important for me to capture the figure of my model since I would have to cut it out anyways.  to relate back Chloe Sheppard's youthful and bubbly style I used colorful backgrounds with light aesthetic . Overall, I'm very happy with outcome. The images show a connection to Chloe Sheppard and Paul Butler's work but also include my own ideas inspired by there work.

new photo developments

These are my Final developments for my last photoshoot. For these photoshoots I tried to fit the colour of the figure with the background to fit the aesthetic. To do this I selected the figure only and  used the eye drop tool to use a colour from the picture and proceeded to use the bucket tool to colour the figure with it. This is how they turned out.

For my further developments I took three pictures with the same background and put them together. I cut out the figure in the picture and matched each one with a colour from the picture.

FINAL PIECE REVIEW

To make my Final Piece edits I chose 3 of my most successful developments and refined the edges of them. The way I have linked Chloe Shepperd and Paul Butler is that i used my photoshoot pictures that I had originally done for Chloe Shepperd and edited them in the style of Paul Butler meaning I cut out the figure in the photo and proceeded to keep it white. After doing that I looked back at Chloe Shepperd and saw that she does alot of collages so I printed out the pictures and stuck them onto plain white paper one on top of the other, I also added some tape on the sides to make it more aesthetic like Chloe Shepperd's work. I created my collages by hand and then added them onto photoshop to add colour onto the plain white background and after refined the edges. I would say my most successful part of this piece is that I have managed to lay them out in perfect collages and am very proud of the total outcome. If I was to do this again I would refine the edges more. Overall i am proud of the outcome of my work.
