Dennis Auburn is a 22 year old analog and digital photographer in Houston, Texas. Auburn has been recognized and awarded by many known companies and magazines for example, the photographic journal, Atwood magazine, Telegramme and Vogue Italia.

Auburns work is very different which makes it much more unique and gives the world something else to be interested in when it comes the world of photography and art. He shots a series of different shoots. I will be particularly be focusing on two of his different shoots to be able to connect this artist to the last two artists I have been able to experiment with their type of photography. The first shoot I will be looking at in detail is known as the 2013-2014 ''Aura'' album of images which can be found on his website here:

                                                                https://dennisauburn.format.com/

It can be found under 2013-2014 with the name ''Aura'' :

I particularly choose this album to focus on as it not only relates to my two previous artists but it also related with the theme of the hidden truth. This is because there are many things being projected onto the model and they are being used to almost cover up her features ,her real self and the truth that's being withheld from others. These images have a surreal feeling to them as they have different designs in them mainly abstract shaped and colours that seem as if they are floating on top of the model.

Dennis Auburns works from all his collections seem to amaze me from all sides and angles. His work is very focused on and has a key element of having a model

''I am for youth, going for the unknown, and learning throughout the process.''

Photoshoot 1

Contact Sheets

For this photoshoot I had brought together two of Dennis Auburns ideas whilst still incorporating ideas from my two previous artists that I have developed my Portfolio from to show I can express my chosen artists ideas whilst using my own ideas to create similar images to the artist, Yet still different. This shows that I have learnt how to further develop my work in able to explore with different ideas and techniques. I believe this is why as my photoshoots develop my ideas are shown to be stronger and more understanding on what type of work I want to create and how that relates to not just one of my artists but all of my artists I have been able to look at throughout this portfolio.
