RAW IMAGES - COLLAGES

This is a new series of collages I have created using my Rosanna Jones edits. I layered images of the faces in different compositions. To shoot the developments, I used naturally lighting on a sunny day so there is a very harsh difference between the light and dark areas, which I think made a really interesting effect. To edit these, I will increase the curve to exsaggerate this effect.

​To create my final piece, I edited these two collages on Photoshop, increasing the contrast and brightness to focus on the centre of the work. Through capturing the piece in a harsh sunlight, it created an unusual distorted shape across my collage which I felt linked back well to the unusual lighting and compositions of Dexter Navy. I have decided to use two black frames to present my work as this related well to the low key lighting of the image. Overall, I think my final piece was successful in combining all three of my artists and exploring in particular concepts and visual styles linked to Dexter Navy.
